At Universal Piping Industries, quality is managed through a documented QA/QC program supported by industry-recognized certifications, qualified personnel and digital tracking. From material receipt and design coordination through fabrication, testing, installation and turnover, our processes are structured to improve accuracy, consistency, traceability and accountability.
UPI combines skilled union craftsmanship with paperless workflows, current model and drawing control, material and weld traceability, in-process inspections and documented testing. This connected approach provides visibility into fabrication status and helps ensure each system is built using the latest approved information.

Our controlled fabrication environments allow critical work to be completed with greater precision, repeatability and oversight before arriving on site. This helps reduce rework, improve schedule certainty and deliver reliable mechanical systems our customers can trust.

Smarter Tools, Better Visibility
UPI uses MSUITE and Stratus to connect approved models and drawings with shop production, material status and fabrication progress. Digital records, weld mapping, real-time productivity reporting give project, quality teams greater visibility from engineering through installation.
Trimble layout, 3D laser scanning and reality capture help verify existing conditions and improve field accuracy. AI-assisted tools support planning, data review and trend analysis, while qualified personnel remain responsible for inspections, quality decisions and final approvals.
